Noise Pop: Craig Wedren tickets!

Anyone else a little worn out from all this running around to rock shows? Nothing a little hot coffee and a fresh giveaway can't fix.

Craig WedrenWe are so excited about the show at the Knockout this Saturday, and not just because it's walking distance from our apartment. What we're really excited about is the fact that Craig Wedren is playing. For those of you who don't recognize his name, he's the former frontman of Shudder To Think, a band that released wildly creative and influential records on Dischord in the early 90's. For the past few years Craig's been concentrating on soundtrack songs and scores for movies like High Art, Wet Hot American Summer and School of Rock. Last fall he released a solo album, Lapland, on Team Love, Conor Oberst's label and home to David Dondero who headlines tomorrow night's show.

We highly recommend trekking out to Bernal Heights, our beloved hood, to see this show. We're giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky winner. (Act fast - contest ends at 2pm today! Winner will be notified via email.)
