Noise Pop '06 is already proving to be memorable. Tuesday night's Feist show was among the best shows we've ever seen, despite the relentless sound problems at Bimbo's, and last night we went backstage to witness a saucy embrace by Britt Daniel and John Vanderslice. Luckily our new favorite photographer Julie Schuchard was there to document the love; look for her photos in our show reviews!
See another hot indie rock embrace on Friday at Bimbo's where two of our favorite bands are playing: Two Gallants and Silversun Pickups. Silversun Pickups made our Top 12 of 2005 list, and Two Gallants was an SFist award winner, so you know we're excited about this show. We saw both bands at SXSW and can assure you they're ready to bring their raw and careening live shows to Noise Pop.
