Crazy Weather

dayafter.jpg We thought the snow was weird enough, but what about last night's sudden thunderstorm? For about half-an-hour last night, the heavens provided better water pressure than we get in our apartment.

Did you get caught in the downpour last night? We did. We exited the Castro Muni station a little after 6 last night, and were immediately completely soaked (amazingly, our SFist messenger bag remained impervious to the elements). The cause of the deluge: apparently, an "isolated thunderstorm cell swooped down from the north and got caught up with a funnel system from the south", which all sounds like stuff we moved from Indiana to avoid (that, and the Klan).

The good news seems to be that while today will continue to suck the weekend will be sunny and clear. Not warm (57 or 58 is not warm to still-damp us), but at least precipitation-free.
