As far as we know, SFists Jackson and Krissy continue their tear though Austin, Texas at SXSW, but who the hell knows? We haven't heard from Krissy since yesterday (which might be an indicator of how reliant we are on her as an IM pal), and all we've seen from Jackson are increasingly incoherent emails. Is it the Island of Dr Moreau down there, or what?

At least we have Austinist to keep us informed on what's going on.

In film, Austinist reviews , which is about, surprise, small town gay bars. Those are our favorite kind! Bre went to see The Oh in Ohio and 51 Birch Street and liked them both. They also interview Turk Pipkin, director of Nobelity, a movie about Nobel laureates.

In music things are way more starf**kery, which is just the way we like them. Austinist's party was a smash, Perry Farrell's in town, and we're not sure who they're talking about here but we will say that ever since we started drinking Austinist we did start to rock well, so there might be something too all that.

We'll regret not being at Austinist's party, pictured to the left, until the day we die.
