Does anyone remember those lengthy policy papers with solutions that slick Newsom drew up to seem more legit...how much of that actually materialized, hrm? I wonder if he's emulating George Bush in partying it up and believing everyone's onboard with whatever he doesn't do. But then again maybe if I had been endeared by his easy gay marriage stance, I might be coming out of that passive support afterglow right about now.
