A Tribute to Leacock and Pennebaker Film Festival

If we didn't think calling in sick Thursday and Friday would attract unwanted attention, we'd totally do it so we could take in all the screenings at the Tribute to Leacock and Pennebaker festival running March 2−5 the Castro and the de Young Museum’s Koret Auditorium.
Sure, we've seen a lot of these movies before, but never on the big screen. And the best part of all this -- all shows before 7:30 are FREE. We love free! Only The Strong Survive? FREE. Town Bloody Hall? FREE. We can't stand it!
Get the scoop on honored filmmakers Richard Leacock and Donn Alan (D.A.) Pennebaker here -- they'll be at a lot of the screenings, so get your questions ready now. The complete schedule is here. Now go see some movies!
