Some of you just can't get enough Gavvy Gav -- Berkleyist finds a picture of him and Sofia Milos (Newsom?) by Luke Thomas. Us, we can't get enough MC Hammer! This may be SFist, but we Hella Heart Oakland. Lots of other new blogs of note. Jon Swenson says Phil Zajicek is blogging his Tour of California ride. And just in time for spring training, El Lefty Malo finds a new Giants blog, Giants Jottings.

We're kind of liking Mickey Klein on the Cal Patriot blog -- he quotes Orwell and disses on Identity Politics. Though not as much as we like landlords receiving some rough justice. It's all ownership society, as far as we're concerned. We're going to be deep in this sh*t for days -- have some fun for us this weekend, okay? Down the Avenue sits next to Tipper to watch Al do some speechifyin' at the TED confab in Monterey. And Nelson at Somebits is excited about the new parking meter 'smart cards' in San Francisco. Sadly, they're not smart enough to SMS you when you're about to get a ticket.

Mike takes in the San Francisco Ballet for an astounding eight dollars. In their way, Zombies are kind of balletic. Check out the next Zombie March if you don't believe us. Did we mention that we Hella Heart Oakland? It's the time of year when we used to decide what to plant in our sunny East Bay garden... sigh. Coffee to the People catches The Brownie Lady, um, 'red' handed. And AsianWeek pillories Adam Carolla for a sketch that despite being in bad taste was abjectly humorless.
