Not one but two articles in the Sunday Chronicle breathlessly report that our very own lady of sorrows Kimberly Guilfoyle made a potentially-cuddly first appearance during Fashion Week with Eric Villency, the host of the show "iVillage" on the Fine Living channel. (Do we even get that channel out here in SF?) Check out Eric's pouty mug to your left.
Villency is a former Calvin Klein and Abercrombie model, and the president of his family's Maurice Villency furniture business. Here's a picture of him in the New York Social Diary with his ex, Olivia Chantecaille. They achieved some sort of notoriety in the social elite when it turned out they'd hired PR reps to place gossip items about themselves in the papers. It's so nice to see that Kim's finally dating someone who loves being in the media.
The reports call Kimmie and Eric an "instacouple," but take note of Eric's statements about his apartment to HGTV! Speaking of the furnishings in his 1800 sq. ft. Greenwich Village apartment, he says, "I don't have it in here if I don't love it." A good sign, Kim, a good sign! Watch out, though -- in an interview with the magazine One 2 One, Eric warns, "My worst relationship was with someone who was very moody and negative. She dwelled on things that didn’t relate to us or her life. She couldn’t be happy with me, because she couldn’t be happy with herself."

And to think ... We used to be on the same school bus those many years ago when we used to go to "the Allen Stevenson" school. I saw his name and pic in the paper yesterday and realized that this is the same kid who I went to school with. He was a year older but those bus rides to and from school were good times. I believe he lived around 53rd street. We weren't friends or anything but I don't forget faces ..even if the bus rides and the schooling happened in the 1980s. How long has he been famous that i'm just catching wind of this now?
Wow , he hit the jackpot and i'm still living at home with mom... life sucks and then you die I guess ! Wish I was born into a family with money..then you'd be seeing my face all over the internet as well as here in NYC. I feel like I should sue the Allen Stevenson school because it didn't get me anywhere. I was there from first grade to 6th...as it stands now.. I have 7.87 cents in my bank account. Life really sucks and seeing people who I grew up with/around making top dollars makes me depressed. I'll be 29 in june and I'm broke as a joke. I hear Eric is traveling down to a hot place to get married today. Great! I'm still broke !
um, yeah. this one is sure to last. eric is hiding something in that closet and it sure ain't a woman. i give it 18 months.
