Dan Gillmor bows out of Bayosphere in Businessweek -- reactions from JD Lasica, Jonas Luster and Thomas Hawk. Blogger Tom Foremski says he's doing just fine, claiming to be more popular with PR folks than the Wall Street Journal's Walter Mossberg. Hey, at least no one has had to resort to astroblogging (astroturfing + blogging, natch).
John Paczkowski is afraid, very afraid about rumors that boo.com is back. "Best Headline in a While" award goes to Ernie Hsung for "the ungayest gay whose ever gayed," in which he urges you not to vote for him in the Bloggies. Beth Spotswood scores an interview with stand-up guy Jacob Sirof. And Chris at Prosaic lets us know that there's a Wikipedia entry for "Marina Girl."
The Schadelmann is none to happy about who Gerardo Sandoval is rooting for in the Super Bowl. The Harvey Milk Club is fighting to keep their association with the local Democratic Party machine. San Jose Inside's Single Gal laments the lack of interesting pedestrian shopping districts down south. And if what Renee Saucedo and a band of former DPW employees are telling the Ethics Commission is true, it doesn't look good for The Gavster.

thanks for the link
but.... I liked Sandoval's resolution!
seahawks of 2006 are the Niners of the early 80s....after decades of sucking they finally made it!
if the niner's had not blown it the seahawks would be sipping lattes and borrowing instruments for their grunge band and we'd be on top of the world....
D'oh! Total case of skimming and reading what I wanted to read. Transference, if you will. Corrected and duly noted, my apologies.
As a Seattle homeboy, the Hawks are tainted by my ambivalence toward Paul Allen, as he wields a lot of development weight in Seattle and has a knack for finding public financing to help him do it. Yes, I'm a total nerd.
If Gerardo wants to take up City time to make a joke at the expense of the Niners, that's fine with me. Go Hawks!
