Stuff To Do If You're Bored

Saturday: We're heading over to Oakland's Parkway Theater for the midnight Rocky Horror Picture Show & Live Stage Show. The movie plays on the big screen, and the cast from Barely Legal performs it on stage. It's a multi-media extravaganza!

Sunday: We're borrowing a kid, and hitting as many attractions as we can for San Francisco Family Appreciation Day. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., any San Francisco based family with a child under 18 gets free admission to 23 different zoos, museums, and events. All you need is a kid and proof you live in SF. Monday:We're totally going to learn how to clog, with the Barbary Coast Cloggers. Monday is the first of 3 weekly sessions on the "folk dance similar to tap dancing, but with a much more relaxed, bucolic feel". It's at 7:30 the next 3 Mondays at the John Sims Center.

Tuesday: It seems like we're always going to the Varnish Gallery, but there's always something cool happening there! This week it's the TechSoup NetSquared at NetTuesday event, from 6-8 p.m. "The meeting's focus is on using and creating applications that help nonprofits with vital projects such as fundraising, grassroots mobilization, volunteer engagement, and issue awareness." Friend of SFist Jason Schultz will be there to remind us that the EFF is all that stands between us and The Man.
