Dear Ms. Hao: You may want to clarify an important point in your article “Help Spider Davila.” You stated in paragraph two that Spider was on his bike “at about 12:30 p.m.” however the hyperlinks “hit-and-run” (see, San Francisco Examiner: Cyclist says an SUV hit him on purpose, December 31, 2005) as well as “taking up a collection” (see, Cyclecide: Seeing Information About a Hit and Run Accident with a Cyclist on Friday Night @ 1AM) state that this incident occurred after midnight. Therefore, this did not happen in the middle of the day as you report in your article. By correcting this error, Sfist.com readers/witnesses may facilitate the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for Spider’s injuries. As you may know as an attorney, one must be careful when stating facts crucial to another’s case and well-being; thus, be more thorough with your reports in the future.

Car drivers in this city are out of control. I really don't know what to do about it. I have taken to carrying a camera with me and taking pictures of every idiot that tries to run me over.

Spider is an amazing person who volunteers more than anyone I know, hours & hours each week.... I still can't believe this happened!
