SFist Watches: TV Tonight

Christmas is all about boobs.

Like that biggest boob of all, Charlie Brown. Tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC, the holiday classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas" airs for the 40th year in a row. We always get a little misty at the end, when Charlie Brown picks that sad, sad tree, and watches in horror as it sags to its apparent death under the weight of a single Christmas ornament. And nothing beats watching those kooky kids grooving away to Schroeder's rocking beats. We only wish Linus didn't have to bring the room down with his speech about Jesus and all. (Could he not talk about religion, please? This is CHRISTMAS!)

But if you prefer your boobs a little younger than 40-years old--and slightly less pious--we think you'll probably be turning to ABC at 10 p.m. for the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show." Janet Jackson's boob is responsible for the fashion show's not airing last year, but time heals all wounds, and the supermodel boobs are back and bouncier than ever. We tend to have a problem watching a primetime special that is really nothing but an hour-long advertisement for a lingerie catalog, but we won't bemoan anyone their desire to watch the pretty, pretty ladies. Just don't get any bright ideas and buy us any tiny teddies as presents, OK? Christmas miracles can only go so far...
