Saturday: We're going to Big Deal, Visual Aid's 12th Annual Mega Art Sale Event. Over 600 works of art will be up for sale at the SOMArts Gallery at 934 Brannan. Tickets are $40, and the sale runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All proceeds from the event benefit Visual Aid's programs for artists with life-threatening illnesses.

Sunday: Damnit! Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theatre, in which positive-reinforcement trained shelter rescued animals perform, is sold out! We'll see if they have any tickets day of show, per Krissy's advice.

Monday: we're seeing The Best of Funny But Mean, San Francisco's most charmingly offensive comedy troupe. See luminaries of the SF stage let their hair down as they play it fast and loose with their greatest hits from previous shows. Shows are at 7 and 9 at the Exit Theatre (156 Eddy).

Tuesday: we're going skating at the Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Ice Rink. Open from 10-10 every day until January 1, 2006, you can ice skate your little heart out. It's just like Rockefeller Center. OK, not really. But skating is fun!
