Stuff To Do If You're Bored

Tonight: We're running just down the street to Borders Books and Music (200 King Street at 3rd) for Making It: Writers on the Verge. Brought to us by our pals at Friends of the SF Public Library this event features Beth Lisick, Michelle Tea, and Stephen Elliott with moderator Oscar Villalon (SF Chronicle book editor) discussing how they started out and how they sustain their work. And it's free!
Saturday: We're headed down to the San Francisco Concourse (8th and Brannan) for the Green Festival ’05, for "two energetic days of socially responsible shopping, options for thriving green living, foremost speakers and industry leaders, creating the largest party with a purpose." The festival runs 10a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and fro 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are 15 bucks, 7 if you're a student, senior, or if you ride your bike there.
Sunday: We're going to Berkeley Rep’s School of Theatre (2071 Addison St @ Shattuck, in Berkeley) for the Target Family Series, a free monthly theatre workshop for the entire family that runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission is free if you bring a book to donate to John Muir Elementary School's library.
Monday: We're flouting our contemptuous commenters and going to see Art & Politics: Matt Gonzalez in conversation w/ Felix Macnee, at Bazaar Cafe (5927 California Street) at 7 p.m.
Tuesday: Did you enter to win passes to see the Film Arts Festival screening of Scared New World? Even if you didn't, you can still buy tickets for the show.
