Stuff To Do If You're Bored
Saturday: We're going to The Canvas for Feria Urbana, everyone's favorite source for locally designed clothing, jewelry, home accessories, and more. The fair runs from 12-5.
Sunday: We can't pass up the The Life Size Game of Mouse Trap carnival. Besides the aforementioned big-ass game of mousetrap, there'll be carnival rides, a haunted zombie room, and an oddity museum. See it all at 9 or 11 p.m., at 1634 Jerrold Ave., (at 3rd Street), in Hunters Point.
Monday: Like evildoers on "Buffy," we intend to stay home on Halloween ("It's amateur night"). Also like the evildoers on "Buffy," we still end up out there in the mix. This year, we're thinking about seeing the midnight performance of the Living Dead Girlz zombie dance troupe at Death Guild at the (520 4th Street at Bryant). (Thanks for the tip, Greg!)
Tuesday : The great Tab Hunter will be in person at the Balboa. At 6 he'll be signing his new book, Tab Hunter Confidential , at 7:30 you can see him in conversation with his co-author Eddie Muller, and then at 8:50 John Waters' classic Polyester will be presented in "Odorama."
