Interview: Suzanne Husky

suzanne2.jpg
Back in SFist’s undergraduate days we thought we were totally unique. Majoring in Botany and minoring in Art History—such a good idea, even if no one else could see why it worked so well. Suzanne Husky seems like she understand the connections between plants and art even better than our ingenious 20-year old mind did.

A transplant from France, Suzanne has done nicely putting down roots in the area (ok, no more plant metaphors, but come on! You totally would have snuck that one in too). In addition to the ever inquisitive SFist interview below, there are several upcoming chances to see Suzanne’s art. She’ll be curating a show at ATA (Nov 5-28th) and will have an instillation at Adobe Books (Nov 11-Dec 15th). Who knows, you may even decide that she’s really blossomed here (so sue us).
