His old job, of course, was District 7 Supervisor, a job he held before Gavin's now infamous "Triple Play" political move. There's only one problem with that idea-- the job is currently being held by Sean Elsbernd, a job that he got by being voted in. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Tony from strolling into City Hall, reporters in tow, to hand Gavin a letter asking for his old job back. Gavin was "indisposed" and wasn’t there to receive the letter.

If any of this screams publicity stunt that's because it probably is. Besides the fact Tony and Gavin don’t like each other and Hall probably thinks this stunt would embarrass Gavin (nothing says dignified like demanding your old job back with a camera crew), the stunt is something one would do if, as rumored, one is considering a run for Mayor against the Gav. Either way, beats cruising Craigslist for job listings.
