Missed Connection at Papalote? SFist Plays Cupid!

If there can be Christmas in April, no reason that we can't have Valentine's Day in October, right? We noticed the above super-charming sign hanging in excellent burrito joint Papalote this weekend, presumably hung by a mystery woman (or man? the squiggly underline says 'woman' to us, but we've been wrong before) hoping that this missed connection-style sign would garner some sweet luvins.

Hello!

We sat right here together last sat night (10/1) making observations about people at the counter & talking about BENDING TIME and SELECTING RIPE FRUIT (weird and wonderful). You wore glasses and were so fun. The guy I was with is an old friend -- NOT MY BOYFRIEND [ed note: the folowing underline here is all cute and squiggly] and I so wish I'd handed you my #! Maybe this public display of affection will work!!

Well, mystery woman or possibly man, maybe with the help of your friendly neighborhood SFist, your "public display of affection" may have a slightly better chance of "working."

So, fellow San Franciscans -- if you know either party, particularly the object of affection here, let's do what we can to recreate tha magic of waiting for to-go-burritos at Papalote on a Saturday night.

Or, alternately, just admire the charming sign and wish that maybe you'd been the fellow that's referred to.

SFist -- making dreams come true since . . .?
