Note To Editor: Have One of the Interns Come Up With a Strained, Jackassy Joke About Russian Monks For This Headline

Sorry to post about Sigur Ros yet again, but would you believe there's going to be another listening party tonight for "Takk," their new album? This time it's at The Cellar, a slightly smug Financial-District club that bills itself as "San Francisco's only Subterranean Nightclub," a shameless slap in the faces of all our hard-working local Mole People. Anyway, a bunch of folks from Rasputin spin there most Monday nights, and they're all jazzed up (or however Rasputin people get excited) about "Takk," and they got in touch with Universal Records and the rest of the story is a haze of free admission and drink specials. The album plays from 8-10 tonight; then record-spinning, dead-Russian-monk-steez, until 2 a.m.-ish.
