Wednesday: The New Thursday

Well, the internets are all abuzz over the 8th annual "One Night Stand," put on by SomArts. We're willing to go with the flow and recommend an erotic art party -- not to mention Indra, known as the "Courtney Love of Cabaret." Wow. That's a reputation to live up to.

The Bay Guardian peeps are throwing a Hell-Raiser Happy Hour at the Cannery Building. Yes, we're biased -- but it can't be worse than that SF Weekly Best Of party we went to. It's one thing to lose to the marketing department at softball, it's entirely another to have a drink with them.

$10 is requested, but no one will be turned away at the "The London Bombings: The Footprint of State Terror ." Bombs in cities equals restricted civil rights. Who knew? Mya Shone and Ralph Schoenman from Pacifica Radio's "Taking Aim" present.
