Stuff to Do if You're Bored

Tonight and tomorrow at the Purple Onion, catch fifteen rising stars on the SF comedy scene for only $15! That's only $1 a comedian, or about a nickel a joke! Seriously, catch them know before they get a show on Comedy Central, sign a multi-million dollar deal, and then disappear to South Africa to center themselves spiritually. Shows start at eight.

Hoarding your serotonin agonists/antagonists for Burning Man, but have an itch to see if that MDMA is really 'pharmaceutical grade?' Then maybe test the batch at the Borg2 benefit and showcase at the Soluna Cafe & Lounge on Saturday from 10pm 'til 2am.

We love architecture, we love history, we love historical architecture! On Sunday, you can take a free walking tour of the Dogpatch/Potero Point neighborhood and see it before it's razed for market-rate lofts. Or you can head out to the Berkeley Hills and invade the 1936 Moderne gem, the J.W. Harris House, for a tour presented by the Art Deco Society of California -- a spendy $25, but vintage outfits encouraged and light refreshments served!

its kind of confusing on the websites, but you don't actually get to see all 15 comics together. its just three each night, which comes out to $5 per comic. but still, i know i'm worth it.
