Stuff to Do if You're Bored

bindlestiff.jpg
Last night we went to a see a new play called 'Sleeper,' written by the lovely and talented Samantha Chanse and directed by Friend of SFist Oliver Saria. We've seen Sam and Oliver slay an audience doing stand-up, so it came as no surprise that the play came with a healthy dose of laughs. There's one more show tonight and tomorrow at eight at Bindlestiff Studio, 6th and Natoma.

Finally, some actual summer weather, even on the westside -- get thee outdoors! So first off, we'll remind you that Great America down in Sunnyvale is very much open for business. In fact, they'll be hosting a fundraiser for the Special Olympics tomorrow. So go get wet, scream a bit, and support a good cause.

Hey, anybody wanna play some softball? You can hook up with the San Francisco Pickup Softball Network tomorrow at 11am at Balboa Park. And some of the kids over at Fecal Face seem to have a standing pickup game Sundays at 5pm. SFist, for one, could use the practice before our next Intellectual Property Softball League game.

oooh! you should come on over. we've got big teams with like 30 people in the outfield. this Sunday is going to be a good 'un.

i wouldn't look to us to improve your chances of having fewer sports-related injuries though, we keep falling down.

pickup sounds great, i'd also like to know are there any regular, semi-serious leagues in town? thanks sfist, youre the best.
