Stuff To Do If You're Bored

Tonight is official Cover Band Night. At Last Day Saloon we have Who Two (they cover CSI theme songs) and Chronic Town, the Bay Area's own R.E.M. cover band. Or, there's Devo cover band Mongoloid, (The Evolution Control Committee) at the 12 Galaxies . Both shows begin at 9, and are sure offer an undergrad flashback for all relevant legally-drinking generations.
So, you're going to the Skinny party Saturday night, what to do all damn day? How about Berkeley's (you knew it had to be Berkeley) 5th Annual Pagan Festival? You've got your Procession, Interfaith Ritual, Traditional Dance, Music, Poetry, Crafts, Authors Circle, Food, Altars, and a Children's Area (you know, for kids!) We're not really into those crazy Pagan values of love and tolerance, but don't let that stop you from heading over the the East Bay for this all-day event.
Sunday night from 8-11 p.m., hit the Bootylicious Burlesque at Somarts. The $15 cover goes to support the SF Sex Worker Film and Arts Festival sponsored by the Coalition/San Francisco Women's Centers. A constellation of stars will be preforming, including SFist faves The Original Fat Bottom Revue, and Lipstick Conspiracy.
