So of course we weren't in The City for most of the week -- you may have noticed parts one, two, three, four and five of our coverage of SXSW in Austin. As nice as the people and the place was, though, it sure wasn't San Francisco, and we are so glad to be back home.
That doesn't mean that there wasn't all sorts of great local coverage on the site all week. Just below this post, SFist Jon breaks a story of E*Trayal -- yet another batch of Californians get to train their cheaper replacements and then compete with their wage scale. Hope they don't come after us and make us reveal our anonymous sources. Speaking of anonymous tipsters, we caught wind of Ian Brown's bad-boy behavior at the GAMH, and were first on the local scene with the news. We wrapped up our coverage of Cinequest and the SFIAAFF, and would like to point out we're the only folks in town the give these fests and films the love they deserve. If you're tired of movies, might we suggest the stage?
After seeing the Ross Mirkarimi bobblehead in his office, we're officially asking Peter Magowan for a series of city politician bobblehead giveaways at 24 Willie Mays Plaza. We want the whole set sooooo bad!
