What? There Are SF Supes Besides Daly?

It's no Smash The State, but friend of SFist Windy Chien (isn't that the best name ever?) tipped us off that our boy Matty G (and before you ask, we DO have a woody for Matt, big time) has been joined in his art-loving ways by Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi.

Mirkarimi will be kicking off his monthly art shows (it's there, scroll down) in his office this Friday March 18 from with Teresa Norris's The Depth of Water photo collection. Show up from 5-8 p.m. for the reception, which is free and open to all.

Subsequent openings (and receptions) will happen on the third Friday of every month, so mark your calendars now - you know SFist will be there, for we find the combination of free food and SF Supervisors to be a siren song we are powerless to resist.

Every time I see Ross, I think of that movie "Single White Female," in which the crazy woman begins to assume the identity of her freaked-out roommate. If I were Matt G., I'd get some extra locks. If Ross picks up a bass, Matt should enter witness relocation.
