Irony Thy Name Is City Hall

We can't stop chuckling over a phone call we just received from SFist Jackson. He was down in Room 263 at City Hall, covering the hearing determining how SFPD press passes are disbursed, and vying for them for your very own SFist. (We'll let him post on that for you himself, but we hear it was very interesting) There he was, hearing about who was getting denied and who was getting sweet, sweet SFPD access when he found himself behind a police line, pass-free! Apparently there was some sort of bomb threat, and City Hall was evacuated in light of the risk, SFist Jackson included.

Since we hear that the SFPD is issuing passes on the basis of how "breaking" the news is that is covered by the respective organizations, we'd like to remind everyone that you heard it here first.
