I agree that it is indeed a sexist assertion, which is why I'm glad Jon pointed out that that seems to be the tone of craigslist's Rants and Raves, as opposed to his opinion. And it's true - the opinions on CL regarding relationships are often shocking in their misogyny, which makes me wonder if that's what most guys think, or just guys who get all mad and post on CL. What do you think?

Rather sexist to call someone gold-digging, then in the same sentence say she put her career above her marriage. Make up your mind -- she can't be both. Perhaps Mrs. Mayor leaving Gavin leaves men with little hope for their future. Touche.
