Lose Those Extra Pounds: Laugh Your Ass Off

Ntrain.jpg
Friend of SFist and Bay Blogger Alex Blagg doesn't need us anymore. Sniff. His shows at the comedy club 50 Mason have been written up in the Chronicle, so he reports "[T]he shows have been selling out ever since: Standing room, people on the floors, etc. It's insane, but great for the comics." Who knew anyone read the Chronicle looking for something funny?

50 Mason is, well, at 50 Mason street in San Francisco. The show is at eight on Saturday and the cover is ten bucks, but you can bring your own hooch, which is the way it should be. And since it's San Francisco, you can probably spark a doob without too much hassle, although light a cigarette and you're likely to get no respect. No respect at all. Alex will be presenting twenty minutes of his best material, and will be joined by a number of other emerging jokesmiths. And if the comedians aren't funny, heckle them to see if they're at least professional -- a polished comeback would be something like: "I don't come down to your job and slap the d**ks out of your mouth, do I?"

I think the proper comeback is:
"I don't come down to the bus station while you're working and knock the dicks out of your mouth."

i reunited the gatekeeper and the keymaster, then defeated the demon dog gozer.

You sunk my battleship
