I looked for one of these Texas Waffle Makers for years. I saw one at a Homewood Suites in Austin and fell in love. The commercial waffle maker is from Corbon's Golden Malted. They make the batter and the waffle maker, but it's not avialable to the public. It's a lease only arrangement that requires you buy gobs of batter from them. However, I did buy a great consumer model from http://www.texgourmet.com they are good people and they shipped it out to me rather quickly. They also sell other cooking stuff. Their pancake mix is good for waffles. I would also like to highly recommend Blackburns Waffle Syrup. It's from Jefferson TX. If you're in TX then you should be able to find the Syrup at a large chain grocery store.

Bad news guys, contacted the company in New Braunfels, they are 70 miles from me. They do not have them. They are rented by a company to motels, hotels, restraunts etc. They never gave us the name of the company, but they did say the company would not sell them. Anyone know the manufactures name? Still looking myself, good luck.
