Predictably, the second day of Winter Storm December 2004!!!!! has caused the usual tie-ups on the roads. And not just the usual entertaining footage of some poor sap trapped in a teeny car in Lake Army Street Underpass either!

Last night, the high winds tipped over a big rig carrying 40 flattened out cars on Park Presidio. Traffic is being diverted through Golden Gate Park; expect delays. Plus, the maze on the East Bay end of the Bay Bridge is experiencing major flooding and the SF side is recovering from a multicar accident at the last city eastbound onramp. Moving down to the South Bay, there's an accident on 101, an accident on 17, and a pedestrian was hit and killed in San Jose.

It's either a good day to take public transportation (though there was also an unspecified BART delay), drive defensively, or, you know, just stay home and watch The Price Is Right.
