More weekend shootings! Everyone loves weekend shootings. On Saturday night/Sunday morning, two men were shot with a semi-automatic at the corner of Harrison and Cesar Chavez; two other guys were shot in a drive-by at Silver and Mission; and one other guy was shot by three gunmen in Ingleside.
The SFPD has proposed a new questionable homelessness holiday policy, which is to offer homeless San Franciscans a one-way bus ticket to anywhere they want to go. The cops say, wide-eyed, that they're just helping reunite families at ChrisMaHanuKwanziKah time; homeless advocates remain skeptical. Hmm. You know, Soylent Green was people.
And everyone's talking about the lawsuit filed by angry Berkeley residents against the notorious Cal dorm Le Chateau. Incidents cited include a guy screaming "where's the heroin?", the decapitation of a chicken with garden shears, and people throwing pig parts off the roof. Oh, and constant bongo drum playing. Bongo drums drive us batty.

I simply love the graphic from "the streets of san francisco". This was on TV the other night, and it was a pure delight to see Leslie Neilsen (of Naked Gun fame) as a TL drunk.
