What to Do This Weekend: Theater

Asian for DummiesSFist isn't sure how we missed knowing about this in advance, except to say that small theater marketing is typically, shall we say, less than ubiquitous. But the San Francisco Fringe Festival is underway, and you should check it out. 45 plays, 60 minutes or less, $8 or less -- what could be better? With titles like Asian for Dummies (best of SF Fringe 2002, by the by), Hooray for Speech Therapy, Late Night with God, Molière than Thou, and more, you're sure to find something you'd like. On four different stages at the EXIT Theatre, 156 Eddy and 277 Taylor, with many, many, many showtimes. Through September 19.
