Wow, does it seem like Craig Newmark is suddenly everywhere? His baby, craigslist, has played a huge part in the last few years of our life (our past and present apartments, car, and job have come from there, among other things), so Craig's had a certain unstated ubiquity for a while. But now here he is in the New York Times! Wired! It seems like the next logical step for Craig's visibility program is a liason with Paris Hilton. Seriously, what's going on?

We're sure a lot of Craig's suddden higher profile is related to eBay's partial purchase of craiglist. But, Craig, we loved you even before your empire started getting bought up by the World's Online Marketplace. We're neighbors, Craig.
