Not Lame Records has released International Pop Overthrow Volume 7, a three-cd, 69-song set featuring the best of indie pop bands, including three Bay Area-based bands: The Bobbleheads, The Veronicas, and Preoccupied Pipers. IPO bands just finished a series of shows in SF and LA. SFist got hold of the very affordably priced ($15) set, and we think the aforementioned bands represent well. We have to say, though, we ordered the set primarily because it contains an unreleased track by one of our favorite pop musicians ever, Jason Falkner, even though JF isn't based in the bay area (but he's welcome to relocate whenever he likes -- we'll even help drive the U-Haul).
