Where SFist seeks to unsettle and dismay its loyal readers by relaying news of woe, randomly collected from a variety of news sources for the period of this week:
-A Hell's Angel, in San Francisco for the Hell's Angel convention, shot another Hell's Angel Friday morning for threatening to push over his bike, parked outside the New Century Theater strip club, at Larkin and McAllister. Yes, right by the AMC 1000 Theater and the Great American Music Hall.

-The West Nile virus has been found in Santa Clara County, discovered in a dead bird found on a San Jose resident's lawn. Only 20% of infected people will come down with the disease, which displays "flu-like symptoms." (Everything displays "flu-like symptons" these days). Elderly people and people with compromised immune systems are encouraged to use insect repellent and wear long sleeves and pants.
-A Filipino-American man was shot Wednesday night at 30th and Mission Street, stumbling to a 30th and Mission bus stop before being taken by friends at a nearby house to SF General, where he died. A drug dispute is suspected.
-On Monday, a man fleeing the police through a Caltrain tunnel was hit and killed by one of the new Baby Bullet Caltrains. The man was suspected of burglarizing a home in the nearby Excelsior neighborhood. A second suspect in the burglary was captured, and train service was delayed 90 minutes.
